The Commission received a total of 1193 submissions since its commencement in July 2025. Of those, 1002 submissions were from individuals including young people and children from around the state.

The Commission acknowledges and thanks all those who shared their experiences of the child protection system in various capacities, including carers, frontline workers, parents, family members, and individuals with direct lived experience.
We recognise the strength it can take to share personal experiences and are grateful for the trust placed in the Commission. These stories have been heard and have informed the work of the Inquiry.
To support the safety and privacy of contributors and others, the Commission has taken all reasonable steps to de-identify material as far as possible, including removing or altering names, locations, and other identifying details.
